The mold set mainly consists of the following parts:
Gating system: This is the plastic flow channel in the mold from the nozzle of the injection molding machine to the cavity, including the main channel, branch channel, gate and cold material hole. The design of the gating system should select the appropriate gate type according to the different requirements of the product, such as direct gate, side gate, latent gate and point gate.
Molding parts: These parts constitute the cavity of the mold, including punch, die, core, molding rod, molding ring and insert. Molding parts are the parts of the mold that are in direct contact with the plastic, requiring high processing finish and precision.
Guide components: The guide components ensure the movement accuracy of each structural component of the mold, usually composed of guide pillars, guide sleeves or guide grooves.
Ejection mechanism: This mechanism is used to remove plastic parts from the mold, including push rods, push plates, pull rods, etc.
Temperature control system: In order to meet the mold temperature requirements of the injection process, the temperature control system heats or cools the mold.
Other components: The mold also includes ejection devices, cooling systems, exhaust systems, etc. These components work together to ensure the normal operation of the mold and the quality of the plastic parts.
